Please join us on Saturday, June 14th in historic Newfane, New York for the inaugural Race Against Hunger 5K and Fun Run (approx. 1K). The event is being organized by the Newfane Lions Club with proceeds to benefit the Newfane Community Food Pantry and the First Baptist Church Food Pantry. Partricpants are also encouraged to donate non-perishable food items on race day!
START/FINISHThe start and finish lines will be located in behind the Newfane Town Hall. The 5K Run will start at 9:30am and the Fun Run (non-timed) will start at 10am.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration (credit card) will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place at the Newfane Town Hall from 8:00am right up until the start of the the 5K race at 9:30am. All participants who register prior to May 31, 2025 are guaranteed to receive an official race t-shirt in your requested size. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered after this deadline and will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis on race day until they are gone.5K Registration: $25 through April 30th then $30

POST RACE CELEBRATIONAll participants are invited to celebrate after the race in the Town Hall parking lot. There will be bottled water, music, and light snacks and goodies at the finish line after the race. We are also planning to announce several food vendors that will be on hand for your enjoyment!PARKINGThere will be plenty of free street parking near the start/finish line.AGE GROUPS & AWARDSTrophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. In addition, finisher medals will be presented to all 5K runners. TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICESTiming services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
